![]() I have Wn8.1 圆4 Notebook with I7 processor, 8 Gb RAM, NVidia GT750 DDR5 2 Gb, 1 Tb HD and 15.6 IPS Touch Screen monitor, and I was wrong (reading some messages) that iPad will make living easier with Kronos than my notebook, and that will give me some new possibilities. I really appreciate that and I am very grateful. ![]() As I remember it is not a first time that you help me. Thank you very much 19naia for your detail, and very good explanation. I have iPad Pro and i have to use a laptop for getting files to and from Kronos and then use file apps over internet, to access them on iPad. Maybe you are better to do with a laptop and then get iPad as an extra convenience rather than a laptop substitute. IPad pro seems it should have more laptop utility but it stays close to what iPad has always been, just added functions in software realm, better sound but nothing changed with the same old utility limitations. iPad in particular is a very closed system when it comes to interface and data transfer. I may be wrong if there is a way to hack around it or a special app that allows use of USB adaptor for regular every day files, but apple seems to restrict data transfer and it may be about keeping the system less corruptible.Īpple’s high priced reputation is based on a less vulnerable system and that does not come easy when people can have files and data coming and going any way they want. But it also does Midi and audio lines over USB with applicable apps. There is no USB flash drive connection to iPad and the special USB adaptors are for camera files only. IPad lets me download files over internet but i have to use a laptop or desktop to transfer them via USB flash drive. I can record audio into iPad but sending files like we can with laptops, is what sets iPad apart as a less utility friendly device. Problems are common with non apple accessories.Īs far as your questions about other ways to use iPad, mostly you need a laptop. IPad will connect via USB but you need a camera kit USB to lightning adapter.Īnd buy the one made by apple or made for apple. Kronos X73, Kurzweil PC3LE8, ASM Hydrasynth, Arturia Keylab mk2 61, AKAI MPC Key 61 I still don't have iPad Pro but I want to buy it and use it with Kronos X, and I need to know what I have to buy it to produce possibility to solve all what is in my question? What did you commonly use?Īll my question are related to iOS v.11. ![]() What iOS programs are best to use with Kronos. ![]() How I can copy files to external USB disk to iPad?ħ.
